| What are announcements? |
Announcements are messages similiar to posts, but only Administrators can post them from the board's main control panel, and you can not reply to them. Announcements are mostly used for important messages that everyone should read.
There are 2 types of announcements; 'Global' and Forum-specific ones. A 'Global announcement' is displayed in all forums, while a 'Forum-specific announcement', as the name says, is only meant for and displayed in one forum. Mpst announcements will be global.
