Okay. I'm usually the last person to talk about posting activity (looks at post count) but at this point something needs to be said and Randy ain't saying shit.
This place is dead. deader than dead. This place is like ICP's career, just not existing.
The easiest way to remedy this is simply telling users to make new threads but maybe that won't be enough. Need a constant flux of new threads, new posts and new users.
Does anybody else have any ideas on how to pick up activity?
Because, if this place stays dead, we all know what will happen.
Randy will reset the board, we have to sign up all over again, posting starts up the first few weeks then it dies. The cycle begins again.
Also, IRC is dead as well. Come on people, spend more than 10 minutes there. Mors and I are going to talk to ourselves until we die if this continues.
I agree I've been around but I've been working on my business stuff lately. I will do my damndest to create some new threads in the next few days. Let's all try and hammer away on activity here in the next few days and so on...
I've made a few posts... been really busy with finals and holiday stuff. But yeah, all the boards I am on are rather dead right now... seems to happen right at the beginning and ending of semesters I've noticed.
I wish that the NHL thread was as active as it used to be, I've had so many posts that I've wanted to make and I can't since I'm the last to post. *cry*
All of our active users either did as Morsalbus said or just stopped posting. If we could get them back, activity would go up again.

EDIT2: we also need ideas to bring in new members, although the battlehack should certainly help. Maybe there should also be some sort of penalty for people who stop their activity here, too
yeah, it kind of died here and i got tired of trying to keep things going.
If we all just keep posting a little more every day that we come here then the board will pick up again... it's when some of us stop for a day or 2 that it dies again =/

I thought no one else had realised this place had died.
Anyway, I just stopped posting here because I just wasn't really interested in most of the threads in here.
A lot of the activity was in the politics forum which I really wasn't interested in (or knew nothing about).
And I get on here every day or 2, I just never post. I just like to know what's happening Ill definitely play the battlehack, just not sure if I'll start posting again when that comes.

I didn't "leave" I have just been working on my business highly, and to be honest it's doing really well. I've sent out quite a few quotes and such and people are calling and whatnot.
But I am still here. I will be around more though cause I work from home and such. How has everyone been in the meantime?
Sorry I've been inactive, I went to jail for a couple days (long story, but there is a happy ending: I'm not getting any charges!) and then my computer shit out on me when I got home. :/
Also, the IRC has been equally dead. There have been several times recently when I have been the only person even logged in. Nobody else idling or anything
